Burslem Double Tile

A double tile showing the town of Burslem the Mothertown, On the road up from Middleport you can see the townhall in the distance with the famous golden angle on top, passing coxes entry and the bottle kilns are a reminder that Burslem was once covered in them. One of the six towns of Stoke on Trent Staffordshire. Designed by Steve Shaw. The six towns make up Stoke on Trent. People often think there are only five towns this is because Arnold Bennett called one of his books Anna of the FIVE towns thinking it sounded better.
