Caught In Time inspired by the Martin brothers pottery

Caught In Time, the ritual of the dodo courting is caught in time. A Martin brothers inspired grotesque sculpture of a wally bird made in high fired stoneware by Burslem pottery. Designed by Andrew Hull. Martin Brothers produced pottery between 1873 and1914, Martinware was described as art pottery, one of the earliest potteries making this, but in modern terms they fit better into studio pottery which was invented later.
