Character Jug inspired by the Martin brother's pottery

Character Jug is a two-faced character jug. Limited edition of 60 only. A Martin brothers inspired sculpture made in high fired stoneware by Burslem pottery. Designed by Andrew Hull. Martin Brothers produced pottery between 1873 and1914, Martinware was described as art pottery, one of the earliest potteries making this, but in modern terms they fit better into studio pottery which was invented later.
