Six Towns Vases and Tiles

 

Stoke on Trent is made up of six towns Longton, Fenton, Hanley, Stoke, Burslem and Tunstall. The area is rich in local history and industrial heritage. Famed for the ceramic industry which began to boom in the industrial revolution. The old pottery kilns around the city are hard to miss and stand testament to the incredible work produced in the city. Approximately 50 are still in existence and most are listed buildings.
