Charlie The Accused inspired by Martin bothers pottery

Charlie forms part of the court room range. Beaten up and wrongly accused of stealing eggs, Charlie is down on his luck. Charlie is called upon to clear his name. A Martin bothers inspired sculpture of a wally bird, Made in high fired stoneware by Burslem pottery. Designed by Andrew Hull. Martin Brothers produced pottery between 1873 and1914, Martinware was described as art pottery, one of the earliest potteries making this, but in modern terms they fit better into studio pottery which was invented later.
