Middleport square tile

Middleport Pottery, situated on the Trent and Mersey Canal in Stoke on Trent, was built by Burgess and Leigh in the late nineteenth century. The grade II listed building is the Uk's last working Victorian potbank in continuous production. After a 130 years, Middleport pottery remains the home of Burleigh pottery. It has a standing bottle kiln and is one of the last steam powered pot banks. Middleport pottery is now an award winning visitor destination.
