Penny Lane

A double tile interpreting the lyrics of the Beatles song Penny Lane a street in Liverpool. Penny Lane bus station (now gone) where the boys used to meet next to the shelter. Included in the design are the shelter in the middle of the roundabout, the bank and the barber shop where he has a photograph of every head he has ever know, with a poster for Henderson's circus in the window. Painted with a blue suburban sky. Cast, drawn and painted by hand.
